Method
  1. Slice candied chestnuts.
  2. Add chestnuts to shaker.
  3. Add half the ice to shaker.
  4. Pour in whisky and liqueur.
  5. Quick shake to mix.
  6. Pour everything into glass.
  7. Add more ice to glass.
  8. Glorious

Chestnut Rock And Rye is glorious heavy cocktail at 1.5 standard drinks. Shaken with 30ml chestnut liqueur massenez and 30ml whisky rye with 100ml ice and good with afternoon tea. Just slice candied chestnuts then add chestnuts to shaker and add half the ice to shaker. Pour in whisky and liqueur and quick shake to mix and pour everything into glass then add more ice to glass and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
