Method - Stirred - Cold

Add ice to mixing glass.
Pour all ingredients into mixing glass.
Mix well.
Hawthorne strain into glass.
Garnish with a lemon peel.

Gin Herno - Herno Gin is a collaboration between Herno Swedish Gin and Four Pillars following and made at Four Pillars with their master distiller Cam Mackenzie and Herno founder Jon Hilgren using unique Swedish and Australian botanicals.

Byrrh - Byrrh is an aromatised wine based aperitif made of red wine and quinine blended with selected dry red Roussillon wines. A wine based aperitif Byrrh has the specific characteristic of being flavoured with quinine.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Lemon Peel - Lemon peel is the skin of a lemon and full of lemon oils and are used in cocktail for taste and garnish and can be shaped in may styles.

Byrrh Special is delectable very strong cocktail at 1.8 standard drinks. Stirred with 45ml gin herno and 30ml byrrh with 15ml lemon juice as well as 100ml ice and best served with farinaceous starchy dishes. Just add ice to mixing glass then pour all ingredients into mixing glass and mix well. Hawthorne strain into glass and garnish with a lemon peel and served in a martini glass cold.
