Albanian Sunrise Cocktail

Method - Poured - Cold

Add grenadine to bottom of glass.
Fill glass with ice.
Pour in light white rum.
Top with orange juice.
Garnish with orange round.

Rakia - Rakia or Rakija or Rakiya is the collective term for fruit brandy popular in the Balkans. The alcohol content of rakia is normally 40 to 50 percent ABV but home produced rakia can be stronger.

Orange Juice - Orange Juice is fruit citrus liquid with clean sweet or sour taste and is orange in color with low acid level.

Grenadine - Grenadine is a pomegranate syrup and commonly used as a bar syrup. Its tart and sweet with a deep red colour.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Orange - Orange is the fruit of the citrus species citrus.

Albanian Sunrise is freskuese average cocktail at 1 standard drinks. Built with 30ml rakia and 60ml orange juice with 10ml grenadine as well as 190ml ice and served with or for breakfast. Just add grenadine to bottom of glass then fill glass with ice and pour in light white rum. Top with orange juice and garnish with orange round and served in a highball glass cold.
