Method - Poured - Cold

Fill glass with ice cubes,
Pour in shot of mainstay.
Add orange juice.
Sprinkle gold amarula on top.

Cane Spirit Mainstay - Mainstay is a 5 times distilled cane spirit originally developed in the cane fields of KwaZulu Natal and now regarded as the national spirit and originally known as gavine or mystery liquor.

Orange Juice - Orange Juice is fruit citrus liquid with clean sweet or sour taste and is orange in color with low acid level.

Amarula Gold - Amarula Gold is made from the fruit of the marula tree which is also locally called the Elephant tree or the Marriage Tree.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Bafana Bafana is flavoursome full bodied cocktail at 1.3 standard drinks. Built with 30ml cane spirit mainstay and 60ml orange juice with 10ml amarula gold as well as 190ml ice and best with lunch. Just fill glass with ice cubes, then pour in shot of mainstay and add orange juice. Sprinkle gold amarula on top and served in a highball glass cold.
