Method - Shaken - Cold

Add half the ice to shaker.
Add all ingredients to shaker.
Quick shake to mix.
Pour every thing into glass.
Add more ice to glass.

Whiskey Rye - Rye whiskey can refer to either of two types of whiskey American rye whiskey which must be distilled from at least 51 percent rye Canadian whisky which is often referred to rye whisky for historical reasons although it may or may not actually include any rye in its production process.

Vermouth Sweet - Sweet vermouth also called Italian Vermouth is a fortified wine with an alcohol content of around 16 percent and a sugar content of around 14 to 15 percent.

Cranberry Juice - Cranberry juice is the juice of the cranberry and the term used on its own usually refers to a sweetened version.

Shemp is rejuvenating robust cocktail at 1.6 standard drinks. Shaken with 45ml whiskey rye and 15ml vermouth sweet with 30ml cranberry juice as well as 100ml ice and best with an entree or small snack. Just add half the ice to shaker then add all ingredients to shaker and quick shake to mix. Pour every thing into glass and add more ice to glass and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
