Method - Stirred - Cold

Place ice into shaker.
Add all ingredients to shaker.
Shake well.
Strain into glass.
Garnish with twist of lemon peel.
Palatable

Benedictine - Benedictine is a herbal liqueur beverage sweet brandy liqueur first made by monks.

Chartreuse Liqueur Yellow - Chartreuse yellow is a liqueur made by the Carthusian Monks since 1737 distilled alcohol aged with 130 herbs plants and flowers and yellow in color.

Whiskey Rye - Rye whiskey can refer to either of two types of whiskey American rye whiskey which must be distilled from at least 51 percent rye Canadian whisky which is often referred to rye whisky for historical reasons although it may or may not actually include any rye in its production process.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Lemonade Peel - The peel or zest from the lemonade.

Monte Cassino is palatable full strength cocktail at 2.8 standard drinks. Stirred with 30ml benedictine and 30ml chartreuse liqueur yellow with 30ml whiskey rye as well as 10ml lemon juice including 100ml ice and best with lunch. Just place ice into shaker then add all ingredients to shaker and shake well. Strain into glass and garnish with twist of lemon peel and served in a saucer glass cold.
