Method - Stirred - Cold

Add ingredients to mixing glass, less soda.
Stir well.
Pack ice in glass.
Pour ingredients over ice.
Top with soda.

Monastique - Monastique is a traditional liqueur based on a recipe from a monastery in the Dutch province of Zeeland.

Soda Water - Carbonated water also called sparkling water or club soda or seltzer is water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Cane Syrup Monin - Monin cane sugar syrup made with 100 percent pure cane sugar and filtered water.

Bitters Dram - Gammel Dansk Bitter Dram which literally means Old Danish was first created in 1961. Flavoured with 29 types of herbs and spices including star anise nutmeg ginger laurel gentian orange cinnamon its a perfect way to help digestion after a meal.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Monastique Collins is bitter full bodied cocktail at 1.2 standard drinks. Stirred with 30ml monastique and 30ml soda water with 20ml lemon juice as well as 10ml cane syrup monin including 10ml bitters dram also 190ml ice and best with buffet style food. Just add ingredients to mixing glass, less soda then stir well and pack ice in glass. Pour ingredients over ice and top with soda and served in a highball glass cold.
