Malta Sunrise Cocktail

Ingredients

30ml

Prickly Pear Liqueur

10ml

Grenadine

60ml

Orange Juice

190ml

Ice

5% Alcohol By Volume

10 Proof

0.4 Standard Drinks

Method - Poured - Cold

Pour grenadine into bottom of glass.
Fill glass with ice.
Pour in liqueur.
Top with orange juice.
Extremely Pleasant

Prickly Pear Liqueur - Prickly Pear Liqueur made using the fruit of the prickly pear tree which is simply macerated with alcohol.

Prickly Pear Liqueur

Grenadine - Grenadine is a pomegranate syrup and commonly used as a bar syrup. Its tart and sweet with a deep red colour.

Orange Juice - Orange Juice is fruit citrus liquid with clean sweet or sour taste and is orange in color with low acid level.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Malta Sunrise is extremely pleasant light cocktail at 0.4 standard drinks. Built with 30ml prickly pear liqueur and 10ml grenadine with 60ml orange juice as well as 190ml ice and good to have with brunch. Just pour grenadine into bottom of glass then fill glass with ice and pour in liqueur. Top with orange juice and served in a highball glass cold.
