Method - Stirred - Cold

Add ice to mixing glass.
Add ingredients to mixing glass
Stir well.
Strain into glass.
Garnish with piece of marinated artichoke heart.

Vermouth Sweet - Sweet vermouth also called Italian Vermouth is a fortified wine with an alcohol content of around 16 percent and a sugar content of around 14 to 15 percent.

Amaro Cynar - Cynar Amaro is an bitter liqueur made from 13 herbs and artichokes.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Artichoke - Artichoke is a variety of a species of thistle cultivated as a food and can be cooked and flavoured in many ways.

Little Italy is delightful heavy cocktail at 2 standard drinks. Stirred with 45ml whisky white rye archie rose and 20ml vermouth sweet with 15ml amaro cynar as well as 100ml ice and best at tea time. Just add ice to mixing glass then add ingredients to mixing glass and stir well. Strain into glass and garnish with piece of marinated artichoke heart and served in a martini glass cold.
