Method - Shaken - Cold

Add half the ice to shaker.
Add all ingredients to shaker.
Vigorously shake.
Pour all into glass.
Fill glass with ice.
Garnish with candied orange.

Orange Liqueur - Orange liqueur is also called triple sec meaning tripple destilled and comes as a sweet or dry and colored or colorless orange citrus flavoured liqueur.

Orange Juice - Orange Juice is fruit citrus liquid with clean sweet or sour taste and is orange in color with low acid level.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Candied Orange - Candied orange dried and infused with sugar also called crystallized orange or glace orange.

Ioannes is flavoursome robust cocktail at 1.6 standard drinks. Shaken with 45ml rum coconut grove and 15ml orange liqueur with 30ml orange juice as well as 100ml ice and best with morning tea snacks. Just add half the ice to shaker then add all ingredients to shaker and vigorously shake. Pour all into glass and fill glass with ice and garnish with candied orange and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
