Method - Shaken - Cold

Add half the ice to shaker.
Pour in cognac and amaretto.
Shake well.
Pour everything into glass.
Add more ice to glass.

Cognac Merlet XO - Merlet XO Cognac is Extra Old classic par excellence for lovers of old eaux de vie. It is round and warm extremely elegant. Gilles and his sons Pierre and Luc produce this blend with very old cognacs aged for at least six years distilled in their stills and matured in the familys cellars.

Amaretto - Amaretto is a sweet liqueur flavoured from benzaldehyde that provides the principal almond like flavour.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Horny Monk is freshening full strength cocktail at 1.7 standard drinks. Shaken with 45ml cognac merlet xo and 15ml amaretto with 100ml ice and best with an entree or small snack. Just add half the ice to shaker then pour in cognac and amaretto and shake well. Pour everything into glass and add more ice to glass and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
