Method - Poured - Cold

Place the ice cubes into glass.
Pour in shot of gin.
Add in the pear soda.
Top glass with pear cider.
Garnish top with faned pear.

Gin Lawrenny - Lawrenny gin has been taken from the surrounds of the distillery using botanicals grown within Lawrennys own orchard including strawberries and almonds as well as lime flowers that blossom as the distillery transitions from the harsh winter and blooms into spring.

Pear Cider - Pear Cider is also called Perry is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented pears traditionally the perry pear.

Pear Soda - Pear soda water is sparkling water with pear syrup mixed in to give a rich flavour.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Pear - The pear is any of several tree and shrub species of genus Pyrus in the family Rosaceae.

Hiatus is tasty full bodied cocktail at 1.1 standard drinks. Built with 30ml gin lawrenny and 35ml pear cider with 35ml pear soda as well as 190ml ice and good to have with brunch. Just place the ice cubes into glass then pour in shot of gin and add in the pear soda. Top glass with pear cider and garnish top with faned pear and served in a highball glass cold.
