Soda Water

Method - Shaken - Cold

Add cracked ice into glass to chill.
Add all ingredients to shaker, less soda.
Dry shake without ice.
Pour into glass over ice.
Top with soda.
Garnish with mixed fruit.
Enjoyable

Gin Gilbeys - The famous recipe for Gilbeys Gin was born in nineteenth century England. It became such a popular gin throughout the world that a license to produce it in the United States was granted in 1938.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Grenadine - Grenadine is a pomegranate syrup and commonly used as a bar syrup. Its tart and sweet with a deep red colour.

Soda Water - Carbonated water also called sparkling water or club soda or seltzer is water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Daisy is enjoyable average cocktail at 1 standard drinks. Shaken with 30ml gin gilbeys and 10ml lemon juice with 20ml grenadine as well as 50ml soda water including 130ml ice and best with lunch. Just add cracked ice into glass to chill then add all ingredients to shaker, less soda and dry shake without ice. Pour into glass over ice and top with soda and garnish with mixed fruit and served in a poco grande glass cold.
