Method - Poured - Cold

Pack ice into glass.
Add the grape spirit.
Pour in the soda water.
Sprinkle lemon juice on top.
Garnish with double lemon peel knot.

Eau De Vie - Eau de vie is literally meaning is water of life and is a clear colourless fruit brandy that is produced by means of fermentation and double distillation the fruit flavour is typically very light.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Soda Water - Carbonated water also called sparkling water or club soda or seltzer is water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Lemon Peel - Lemon peel is the skin of a lemon and full of lemon oils and are used in cocktail for taste and garnish and can be shaped in may styles.

Brigadier is scrummy full bodied cocktail at 1 standard drinks. Built with 30ml eau de vie and 10ml lemon juice with 50ml soda water as well as 100ml ice and good with roasted or barbecue foods. Just pack ice into glass then add the grape spirit and pour in the soda water. Sprinkle lemon juice on top and garnish with double lemon peel knot and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
