Method - Poured - Cold

Place ice into drinks mixing glass.
Pour all ingredients into mixing glass.
Stir ingredients together until mixed.
Hawthorne strain into glass.
Dress top with dried apricot.

Bourbon - Bourbon is a type of spirit alcohol distilled from maize or corn and rye and can be aged and comes in a number of colors from dark to light.

Apricot Liqueur - Apricot liqueur also called Abricotine du Valais is an alcohol flavoured with apricot and comes in a light orange and clean colors.

Curacao Orange - Curacao is a liqueur flavoured with the citrus of the Laraha fruit grown on the island of Curacao.

Bitters - Bitters is a very strong alcoholic liquid flavored with botanical herbs and spices and are always strong in flavor.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Apricot Dried - Dried Apricot are sun dried with a soft texture and bright color with a sweet apricot flavour.

Bittersweet Jack is delightful heavy cocktail at 2.4 standard drinks. Built with 50ml bourbon and 20ml apricot liqueur with 10ml curacao orange as well as 10ml bitters including 100ml ice and served before a meal to stimulate appetite. Just place ice into drinks mixing glass then pour all ingredients into mixing glass and stir ingredients together until mixed. Hawthorne strain into glass and dress top with dried apricot and served in a martini glass cold.
