Method - Stirred - Cold

Add ice to mixing glass.
Add ingredients to mixing glass.
Stir well.
Strain into glass.
Garnish with orange peel twist.

Caperitif - Caperitif is made from wine fortified by spirits gently sweetened with the sugars of the grape bittered by cinchona bark and flavoured with a selection of some 35 natural botanicals including Fynbos Kalmoes and Naartjie.

Orange Liqueur - Orange liqueur is also called triple sec meaning tripple destilled and comes as a sweet or dry and colored or colorless orange citrus flavoured liqueur.

Bitters - Bitters is a very strong alcoholic liquid flavored with botanical herbs and spices and are always strong in flavor.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Orange Peel - Skin of a orange also known as peel or zest high in orange oil.

Barney Barnato is succulent very strong cocktail at 1.8 standard drinks. Stirred with 30ml brandy richelieu and 30ml caperitif with 10ml orange liqueur as well as 10ml bitters including 100ml ice and best with lunch. Just add ice to mixing glass then add ingredients to mixing glass and stir well. Strain into glass and garnish with orange peel twist and served in a martini glass cold.
