Method - Shaken - Cold

Add a little ice to bar shaker.
Add all ingredients to shaker.
Quick shake to mix.
Pour all into rocks glass.
Top glass with ice.
Garnish cherry and orange.
Tart

Absinthe Mythe - Mythe Absinthe is distilled with aniseed badiane vervain hyssop and of course wormwood which produces a full layered bouquet that is then followed by a balanced palate.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Maidenhair Syrup - Maidenhair Syrup is made from adiantum leaves and is sweetened with sugar or honey.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Cherry - A cherry is the fruit of many plants of the genus Prunus and is a fleshy drupe. The cherry fruits of commerce usually are obtained from cultivars of a limited number of species such as the sweet cherry and the sour cherry.

Orange - Orange is the fruit of the citrus species citrus.

Absinthe Sour is tart heavy cocktail at 2.5 standard drinks. Shaken with 45ml absinthe mythe and 30ml lemon juice with 15ml maidenhair syrup as well as 100ml ice and good with afternoon tea. Just add a little ice to bar shaker then add all ingredients to shaker and quick shake to mix. Pour all into rocks glass and top glass with ice and garnish cherry and orange and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
