Method - Shaken - Cold

Pour ingredients into bar shaker.
Quick shake to mix.
Place ice into shaker.
Vigorously shake.
Hawthorne strain into glass.

Gin Khat - Khat Gin is a clean juniper berry gin with a flavour of khat and can be a dry or sweet style and is clear in color.

Orange Liqueur - Orange liqueur is also called triple sec meaning tripple destilled and comes as a sweet or dry and colored or colorless orange citrus flavoured liqueur.

Grenadine - Grenadine is a pomegranate syrup and commonly used as a bar syrup. Its tart and sweet with a deep red colour.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Egg Yolk - Yoke of an egg used for golden and emulsifed cocktail making.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

SIFI is scrummy strong cocktail at 1.3 standard drinks. Shaken with 30ml gin khat and 20ml orange liqueur with 10ml grenadine as well as 10ml lemon juice including 20ml egg yolk also 100ml ice and best with egg dishes. Just pour ingredients into bar shaker then quick shake to mix and place ice into shaker. Vigorously shake and hawthorne strain into glass and served in a saucer glass cold.
