Negus is moreish tawny port above average cocktail at 2.6 standard drinks. Stirred with 50ml port wine tawny grant burge and 100ml wine red with 30ml brandy as well as 50ml water including 20ml acetomel syrup and good with roasted or barbecue foods. Just heat glass then heat all ingredients, less lemon and warning do not boil. Stir well and pour into glass and garnish with lemon slices and served in a coffee glass warm.
