Method
  1. Place ice into glass.
  2. Add brandy to chimney glass.
  3. Pour in a little white wine.
  4. Top with soda water.

Brandy Grape Armagnac Janneau - Janneau armagnac is a blend of armagnacs which have been aged for over 12 years in French oak casks with golden in colour with flavours influenced by the oak.

Matelot is delicieux quite strong cocktail at 1.6 standard drinks. Built with 45ml brandy grape armagnac janneau and 15ml wine white with 40ml soda water as well as 190ml ice and served before a meal to stimulate appetite. Just place ice into glass then add brandy to chimney glass and pour in a little white wine. Top with soda water and served in a highball glass cold.
