Method - Poured - Cold

Fill glass with ice.
Add grenadine to glass.
Pour in gin.
Add lime juice.
Top with soda water.
Garnish with lime peel.

Grenadine Cawseys - Cawseys Grenadine is a non alcoholic bar syrup characterized by a flavour that is both tart and sweet and by a deep red colour and should be flavoured with Pomegranate.

Lime Juice - A lime is a hybrid fruit which is typically round lime green 36 centimetres in diameter and contains acidic juice vesicles that are are broken.

Soda Water - Carbonated water also called sparkling water or club soda or seltzer is water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved.

Ice - Ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Lime Peel - The skin of a lime.

Gay Rickey is gorgeous average cocktail at 1 standard drinks. Built with 30ml gin raspberry and 10ml grenadine cawseys with 15ml lime juice as well as 45ml soda water including 190ml ice and good to have with brunch. Just fill glass with ice then add grenadine to glass and pour in gin. Add lime juice and top with soda water and garnish with lime peel and served in a highball glass cold.
