Method - Poured - Cold

Half fill glass with crushed ice.
Add chai liqueur to glass with ice.
Add lemon juice.
Top with soda water or flat water.
Garnish with twist of lemon peel.

Chai Spirit - Chai Spirit is based on a traditional Chinese Chai Tea recipe this neutral cane spirit is distilled in a traditional gin still.

Lemon Juice - Juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a pH of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Chai Gimlet is flavourful tonic above average cocktail at 1 standard drinks. Built with 30ml chai spirit and 30ml lemon juice with 30ml soda water as well as 100ml ice and best at tea time. Just half fill glass with crushed ice then add chai liqueur to glass with ice and add lemon juice. Top with soda water or flat water and garnish with twist of lemon peel and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
